Perfect Size Grooming Trailer

December 14, 2005 By: admin Category: Trailer Basics

Most mobile grooming trailers are 6 x 10 feet in dimension but few are 5 x 8 feet. The reason most are so large is because of poor overall design. Most trailer conversion companies simply purchase other company’s products and bolt them to the floor. When they do this, they are not using every available cubic inch for maximum use and are forced to begin the conversion with a larger trailer. However, if a company manufactures its own equipment, the perfect harmony of space and utilization can be achieved. Also, keep in mind that a larger trailer also means :
• Increased wear on brakes
• More difficulty heating space
• More difficulty cooling space
• More space to keep clean
• More difficulty parking
• More difficulty seeing past the trailer in side mirrors
• May require two axles
• More weight for your car to pull

Mobile Grooming Salon Price

December 12, 2005 By: admin Category: Business School, Trailers and Vans

It is important to note that most used mobile grooming salons for sale are less than two years old. It is also important to note that most of those salons are expensive vans. The reason for this is because the entrepreneur’s business failed and she could not keep up with the van payments. The vehicle that the mobile grooming entrepreneur chooses is one of the largest business decision she’ll make! When the time comes for you to make this decision, choose a vehicle that realistically fits your budget. If your payments are $1,000 then understand that you will need to groom 20 dogs at $50 every month just to make the payment. Remember, when you first start out you will probably have no clients but that payment is still going to be due. Be careful not to saddle yourself into payments that could actually be profits, if only your vehicle was a little bit less expensive!
