What a week! I’ve obviously been dealing with fruitcakes lately. Today, I got lectured by a man who called me to come out to groom his dog. Getting and keeping customers is the secret to success but he used all the “buzz words” that make mobile groomers want to hang up the phone. Words like “never groomed before, old, doesn’t like to be brushed,” experienced mobile groomers know the lingo. Truth is, our Decembers are booked out a year in advance so there was no chance that this man was going to be serviced by us. We told the man that (more…)
