Don't Freeze Up!

January 26, 2009 By: admin Category: Grooming equipment, Trailer Basics

GT Grooming Salons prides ourselves on our “all-weather” grooming trailers.  Even today, dogs were being groomed all over Denver in 5 degree weather!  Having a trailer that DOES NOT FREEZE up over night is critical in keeping customers happy because the last thing they want to hear is their mobile groomer saying they won’t be able to make the appointment. Grooming Trailer Locks–GT Style!

January 18, 2009 By: admin Category: GT Stuff

When shopping for grooming trailers, be sure to ask about some common sense topics–LIKE LOCKS!

We go the extra mile on the trailer doors.  Sure all mobile grooming trailer converters have a key lock on the side door, but only GT actually installs a MATCHING KEY LOCK on the back door!  This makes your trailer look better (because there is no dangling pad lock) and easier because you only have one key to worry about. Dippity Dog Picks Up SECOND GT Grooming Trailer

January 15, 2009 By: admin Category: Trailer Customers

We are having fun!  Dippity just picked up their 2nd GT Grooming Trailer.  Part of their success has to do with an overall marketing plan.  Dippity’s “cowboy image” is carried throughout all of their advertising.  The logo is unique, the name is memorable, and it in no way resembles the crowd (in other words, it is not a “dog in a bathtub” logo). Their website is a lot of fun as well. They use words like “deputy” to refer to pets, “dash and dip” instead of “a walk and a bath” and they even have “wanted posters” resembling the old west.

Thank you, Dippity, for your repeat business!

Washington State Mobile Groomer Gets ANOTHER GT Grooming Trailer

January 12, 2009 By: admin Category: Trailer Customers

Linnie with Sweetbrier Patch just picked up their 2nd GT Grooming Trailer.  Only 12 months ago, she purchased her first GT and is sticking with her plan on expanding.  Proving again how the pet grooming industry is one of the best industries to be in during bad economic times, Linnie is blazing a new trail in her city. Her first trailer had a generator installed but chose not to have the generator this time. The reason is because she has learned how well designed the GT is and that the generator isn’t as needed as other grooming van or trailer conversions.  Best of luck to her and we hope to see her again in another 12 months for a 3rd mobile pet grooming trailer!

Thank you for your repeat business!

January 05, 2009 By: admin Category: Business School, Trailer Basics, Watchdog

mobile grooming-bathsThe popularity of pet washing franchises is actually  HELPING independent business owners.  Because most mobile grooming franchises insist on using “budget” equipment including the dreaded “hydro-system” gimmick, groomers who care about quality can offer a service that the franchises can only dream of offering.
